We are looking for:
Purchasing Specialist – Logistics Department

Requirements:

• Experience in Purchasing – 3 years
• Very good written and spoken English (German will be considered as an advantage)
• Computer skills – MS Word, Excel, ERP (SAP would be preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Engineering would be an advantage
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Team player
• Flexible, adaptable, and thinking outside the box

Key responsibilities:

• Manage requests for quotations and proposals as needed to procure items, services, and spare parts
• Support plants in scope of spare parts and investments
• Review quotes and proposals from suppliers and negotiate to ensure best pricing and conditions.
• Negotiate and finalize necessary contracts and agreements
• Systematically explore market opportunities and conduct tenders
• Place orders to suppliers, based on stock availability and fluctuations
• Monitor the orders and ensure the timely delivery of goods or services
• Take measures for resolving of claims and enter all information into the ERP system
• Work with stakeholders in the organization to set up new article numbers and suppliers into the ERP system
• Pro – actively support the development of the purchasing strategy closely working with local stakeholders and global buyers
• Build and maintain relationship with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and teams
• Participate in RFQ process, supplier performance evaluation and supplier qualification
