We are looking for a new successful talent for the Production Team in our plant in Mednikarovo for the position of Team Leader Metal Profiles Installation
Location: Maritsa Plant, Mednikarovo, Municipality of Galabovo, Stara Zagora District
What will be your key responsibilities:
• Ensuring that active and systematic work environment management is conducted in accordance with work instructions and according to internal company standards, and that the necessary documentation is available;
• Leading and managing Metal Profiles Production team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to superiors and team members;
• Responsible for the development and compliance of procedures within the sections;
• Responsible for the department's results set against budget and set goals;
• Responsible for optimal utilization of machine capacity and staffing;
• Leading and further development of work on optimizing routine procedures and finding technical aids to achieve cost-effective production/maintenance;
• Leading and participating in projects/investments and initiating new acquisitions of machinery and equipment;
• Collaborating with other departments, such as Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Logistics, and Procurement, to address production needs and challenges;
• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of operations;
• Maintaining accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and quality metrics, and preparing regular reports for senior management;
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, reduce waste, increase productivity and improve product quality, and ensuring that the work with 5S is followed and developed;
• Responsible for the implementation of occupational safety, waste management and fire protection measures in the facility;
• Ensuring compliance of the company's services with the set quality goals, including incoming control of raw materials and consumables
• Monitoring the installation’s technical condition daily; log issues and deviations; propose improvements and participate in preventive maintenance planning;
• Capable and acting as a "Profile production operator" from the control panel in special cases of need;
• Ensuring that the department's staff have a commitment and competence that meets the management's expectations, promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.
What we’d love for you to have:
• University technical degree or post-secondary education with a specialization in engineering/technology;
• Previous experience in a similar position in an international manufacturing company is an advantage;
• At least 3 years of professional experience in production management and proven experience as a leader;
• Excellent Bulgarian language and fluent English (written and spoken);
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams effectively;
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams;
• Physical ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods and overseeing operations on the production floor;
• Very good computer literacy, incl. MS Office package;
• Knowledge and understanding of work with business systems, SAP is an advantage;
• Strict adherence to safety rules;
• Goal-oriented, demanding and follow-through.
