Due to the continued growth of our business, we are now looking to recruit an HSE Specialist in Limassol Cyprus, reporting to the Sub-Regional HSE Manager.

Can you lead health, safety and environmental initiatives that support a proactive and positive safety culture?
Can you ensure compliance with local, national and international HSE regulations and standards?
Can you identify workplace risks, investigate incidents and implement effective corrective and preventive actions?
Can you work closely with leadership, employees, contractors and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement?
Can you provide clear guidance, training and support to help others work safely and responsibly?
Do you enjoy combining analytical thinking, attention to detail and practical action to improve HSE performance?
As HSE Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting and advancing health, safety and environmental standards across the organisation, helping to ensure compliance, reduce risk and strengthen a culture of care and accountability.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be supporting and leading a wide range of HSE activities, including:
Developing, implementing and maintaining HSE policies, procedures and programmes in line with local, national and international regulations
Conducting risk assessments, hazard analyses and safety inspections to identify and mitigate workplace risks
Leading investigations into workplace incidents, accidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing CAPA
Delivering HSE training, guidance and mentoring to employees, contractors and management
Monitoring compliance with HSE regulations, standards and company policies, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements
Supporting the development and implementation of emergency response plans, drills and procedures
Analysing HSE performance metrics, preparing reports and highlighting trends and improvement opportunities
Ensuring the correct use, maintenance and inspection of PPE and safety equipment, and recommending improvements where needed
Carrying out audits and inspections of facilities, equipment and processes to ensure compliance and support continuous improvement
Keeping up to date with changes in HSE legislation, industry best practice and emerging risks
Supporting sustainability and environmental management initiatives, including waste reduction, energy efficiency and pollution prevention
Acting as a key point of contact for regulatory bodies, auditors and external stakeholders on HSE matters

Degree in Engineering
Relevant experience in an industrial environment
Very good command of English
Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA or ISO 45001 are highly preferred
Effective communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and take initiative
