We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our gypsum fiberboard manufacturing operations:
Main responsibilities:
· Plans, organizes, and controls production to meet targets and maintain quality;
· Develops schedules and ensure efficient use of resources, equipment, and personnel;
· Leads production teams, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback;
· Ensures compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies;
· Monitors production performance and implement improvements in efficiency and cost-effectiveness;
· Oversees raw material and product quality, addressing deviations and corrective actions;
· Manages material and energy consumption to control costs;
· Collaborates with other departments to address production needs and challenges;
· Drives continuous improvement initiatives and implement new technologies;
· Acts promptly in emergencies and ensure workplace safety.
Requirements:
· University degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field;
· At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, including 2-3 years in a managerial role (preferably in a multinational environment);
· Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality systems;
· Proven leadership skills to manage and develop large teams;
· Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills;
· Strong organizational and time-management skills;
· Proficiency in production planning and maintenance management software, with advanced MS Office skills;
· Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies;
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration;
· Familiarity with IMS and environmental standards;
· Fluency in Bulgarian and English (written and verbal);
· Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
